Blake was really annoyed about the spearow, what if it decided to go -poop- on his head? Blake was trying to shake the spearow of his head while Grad who had climbed up onto Blake's shoulder was trying to scratch him of.

The spearow hadn't thought of that. Blake should feel lucky. However, he squawked indignantly when Grad tried to scratch him off, not much worried about Blake's (pitiful in his mind) attempts to shake him off. He tried a peck attack at the charmander, in the hopes of knocking it down. Looks like Blake was going to have a mini-battle on his head. Whoopee.

After having failure of trying to scratch the spearow off Blake's head, Grad fired another ember at the spearow's tail, at least that wouldn't burn Blake's hair unless the spearows tail would touch Blake's hair. Blake was just about going to shout in anger with the apearow.

The spearow squawked and hopped around, down to Blake's other shoulder, back to his head, to Grad's head, and back to Blake's head, before the fire on his tail went out. Angry, he rapidly pecked at Grad's head, beating his wings against Blake's.

Grad had just about enough from this spearow. He climbed onto Blake's head too and tried to scratch the spearow there.

Of course, this meant the spearow had to remove himself from Blake's head, and he was glanced on his chest with a scratch attack. Croaking out a protest, he beat his wings and pecked at Grad, hoping the charmander would set Blake's head on fire.

Grad was really annoyed now, not only for that peck but also why won't this bird-brain just leave them alone? Grad knew that this bird would usually just fly away but he wondered if the spearow knew how to fly. Deciding that the best way to get rid of the pest was to taunt him rather battling and risk putting Blake's hair on fire. "Char Charmander Charmander" <I know why you won't fly away> He said slyly "Charmander" <you probably don't know how.>

Taunting always works. It's the way of the world-Without taunting..Everything is nice. And...The world isn't nice. The spearow therefore was extremely incensed about the entire taunt, and furiously poked at Grad, croaking in bird talk (Which was, at least, understandable to Grad), < Heatheringle finch poutuel sighe dekek! > Being able to understand what was being said wasn't always a blessing-Nothing but nonesense popped out of this birds beak.

Grad merely laughed at the spearow for talking such nonesense. He fired another ember at the spearow playfully. Not really aming to hit the spearow but it was a close call for Blake's hair.
Blake gave out a yell of exparation as there was only one way of getting rid of the spearow and that was through a battle but then Grad would most likely burn down his hair which he wasn't so hot about. Releasing his newly captured ekans. He ordered it to use a leer to at least make the spearow lose its grip or something.

It did make the spearow lose it's grip, and it fell to the ground in an ungraceful bundle of feathers, spouting off more nonsense. <Fingle Fingle, Douleso eskiek Kdidk!> Picking himself up, he returned the leer attack with one of his own, fluffing out his feathers in indignance.

Cad hissed angrily at the spearow. "ekan ekansss" <You were the one who ssstarted it>.
Finnaly Blake was free from the clutches of the spearow. Not only was he free but at least now Grad and Cad could battle properly. "Use your wrap" Blake ordered Cad seeing that Cad was determined to fight the spearow.
Cad coiled the spearow with a tightened grip.

The spearow couldn't escape the wrap attack, because the spearow hadn't learned to fly yet. But there was something just as effective as flying away. Pecking harshly at the head of his attacker. If he should prove to lose the battle, he'd be giving the snake a giant headache as he did.

The ekans removed his coils from the spearow, shacking his head as he did. He hissed violently at the spearow and used another leer. This was particularly disturbing for Blake. The spearow just wouldn't give up which made him ideal to catch for his spunky attitude.

Of course, the spearow didn't have any idea what Blake was thinking, and was instead very upset at the ekans for the leer attack, and rushed in with another peck attack without worrying about his own defense. There was nothing wrong with his wings, one could see upon looking at him, he merely had never learned. Easy to fix...If you could find another trainer with a bird pokemon (preferabbly a spearow or fearow, who would get along better with the pokemon) willing to teach him.

Blake had no intention of capturing the spearow however. Even though he admired the courage and guts of the pokemon, he'd rather not get involved with the prankster. Instead the spearow would amke good practice for his ekans seeing that he was just a new pokemon after all.
Cad moved to the side to avoid the peck and lunged for another wrap attack. His body was full of scratch and peck marks from the spearow. Although he was still standing there was still the matter that he might faint anytime soon.
