Kristopher had decided to split up from Blake, for the time being. In his mind, he had already labeled Blake as his rival, for the mere reason he had gotten a Charmander, and the two had started off together. But he hadn't wanted to pit his newfound friend against the Charmander, as of yet. The two of them would beat them, very quickly, even if he did have a grass-pokemon...After some training.
"Come-" Kristopher blinked, as the pokeball opened to show it was empty. Digging another out of the bag, he went through it three more times before picking the one with Bulbasaur in it, and releasing the bulb-pokemon. "Ah, There you are. I'll call you Mystery, 'Kay?"
"Bulb!" The pokemon didn't have a problem with the name, and started to march in the direction Kristopher was facing...Literally march. Kristopher choked back a laugh at the sight and followed after him.

Just then a pidgey appeared from the grass, it was just minding its own business pecking and scratching at the ground, looking for food as it usually did in the morning, it made its soun to say that it had found some food but then it had spotted kristopher and ducked into the grass.

"Bulb?" Mystery eyed the pokemon with faint interest, stopping in his march to look back at Kristopher and see what his trainer wished to do. And, of course, there was only one thing to do.
"Oi, Mystery, let's get us another friend, 'eh? Use tackle!" Mystery followed this order with a salute, charging at the Pidgey while singing a marching song or some sort of thing.
"Bulb...Bulbasaur...Bulb...Bulbasaur." You know, he didn't have a very nice voice.

The pidgey doesn't seem to be able to take Mystery's song, and flies unto kristopher's head, thinking it as a safe spot. it was peering down at the bulbasaur as though mocking it.

Of course, this made Mystery angry, and the bulbasaur glared up at the pidgey, unable to get to it. Kristopher sighed, shaking his head, and (hopefully) disloding the bird pokemon on it. "I am not a safe place to rest pidgey...Off my head, please."

The pidgey just wouldn't budge it kept a tight hold onto kristopher's hair, it seemed to have taken a liking for you for it began to peck at your head

At this Kristopher tried a last ditch effort. "You know, pidgey, if you don't get off that means you want to become my pokemon like Mystery there." Either way Kristopher won, so he figured he had a nice advantage.
Mystery huffed, wishing he knew vine whip. He whip that pidgey off Kristopher's head and tackle it into some sense.

The pidgey gave a soothing coo, it seemed quite happy with the idea, but it also seemed to want a battle to show its toughness to you. It got of your head and fluttered in front of mystery.

Kristopher blinked, then grinned. "Well Mystery, you'll get some experience, and we'll have a new friend. So what do you say?" This of course was a rhetorical question, as the bulbasaur was huffing and aiming a tackle attack at the pidgey already. Chuckling, Kristopher gave the command, "Go ahead and tackle it Mystery!" The grass-type charged towards the opposing pidgey while it was at ground level, since the tactic would have to change when it actually took flight.

The pidgey merely hopped of the way of the tackle an used its own tackle attack, it was starting to laugh knowing that he had an advantage against the leaf-type.

"Bulb, Bulbasaur." < Don't get cocky pidgey, you don't know any bird moves yet, now do you? > Scooted back a few steps by the tackle, Kristopher ordered a growl attack followed up with another tackle. Mystery, of course, followed through with this willingly. Growling fiercly at the pidgey, he charged foward in a tackle again.

The pidgey who was laughing failed to dodged the tackle, it looked kinda angry at the bulbasaur and used a sand-attack aimed for the bulbasaur's eyes, now this fowl was no bird-brain.

Mystery was hit full blown by the sand-attack, crying out in fustration and slight pain from having sand and dirt blown into his eyes. Desperatly trying to clean his eyes, he randomly tackled where the pidgey had last been-Or where Mystery thought it had last been.

The pidgey had already quickly flew behind mystery and used a tackle attack.

The sand had begun to settle by then, and Mystery was blinking furiously to clean his eyes of grit when the pidgey's tackle hit him from behind. Tumbling foward, he turned around angrily, growling again at the pidgey. "Tackle again, Mystery." Kristopher could see Mystery was becoming tired, and he hoped he could win before he got /to/ tired. The pokemon charged foward again, once more aiming for the pidgey.
