Mystery was oblivious to the fact that he was making the rattata angry, and instead simply continued on. "Bulb Bulb Bulbsasaur." < You aren't very good at it. > After all, he hadn't been watching his surroundings, apparantly, or he would have noticed the traveling trio, and avoided them.

The ratata looked back at mystery. He was taking his time. He looked like he was having a head ache of some kind but a moment after that he was charging with a tackle towards mystery.

Mystery, unprepared for the attack took the tackle full-force, skidding back a few steps. "Bulb!" <Hey!>
Kristopher blinked, since at one moment the rattata was leaving, and the next it was tackling Mystery. "Woah...What'd I miss? Oh! Mystery, use leech seed!" According to his pokedex, the bulbasaur had learned it after the last battle.
The plant/animal hybrid pokemon smirked at the rattata, as small green seeds shot from the bulb on his back towards the purple mouse, in his arrogance sure that he wouldn't miss.

The ratata jumped aside just in time, avoiding tha attack at least for now. It used another tackle while saying "ratata ratata" <This will teach you.>

Mystery didn't talk when he battled, because Mystery...Was Mystery. Growling, he stared in disbelief at the leech seeds that hadn't made it to the Rattata. He turned back just as the Rattata crashed into him side, sending him teetering on two legs before he firmly returned the other two to the ground.
"Tackle him, Mystery." Kristopher wasn't as surprised as Mystery at the seeds having missed-They couldn't change direction in mid-flight after all.
Mystery charged at the Rattata in a tackle attack.

The ratata who used his head to tackle Mystery, got a head ache because of the bruise already on his head. He was thrown back by Mystery's tackle but he had a lot of guts and charged for another tackle, even if it meant hurting his bruise again.

Kristopher grinned. "Mystery, tackle it again!" He had no worries about his pokemon's strength-Mystery was quite sturdy enough, even if his strength was a bit lower than charmander's. Bulbasaur was, in his mind, the best choice that could be made.
Of course, the pokemon had no doubt that he would win. After all, how could he not? The Rattata was probably weaker than him, and already injured. There was just no way to lose.

The ratata was thrown back again. He chattered loudly as though calling someone. The ratata shook his furry head and used a tailwhip, he did seem like he was waiting for someone but there was no one on these grassy plains today. He chattered even louder, suddenly the grass behind you twitched. The ratata seemed pleased with himself when he saw it.

Not that any of his combantants saw it, merely taking his unfocused period of time for Mystery to try another tackle, the tail whip having been quite amusing...But not painful. Not that it was supposed to be. However, despite the fact they hadn't noticed the twitch in the grass yet, didn't mean they wouldn't soon. While Kristopher had no clue what the rattata had been doing, Verify did, and was watching around with the keen vision of a bird.

Another twitch of the grass. The ratata's fellows must be getting closer. All the while the ratata had suffered more pain. "ratata"<help> it said weakly, as though talking to those in the grass. It slowly fainted after slumping down on the ground.

Kristopher tossed a pokeball at the Rattata, much to the dislike of Mystery who wasn't exactly...happy with that. Arrogant creature, the Rattata was-
Verify chose this moment to attack the twitching grass with a gust attack, calling out loudly in Kristophers ear, and making him wince. "What??"

A sandshrew emerge from the bushes. The gust made him trip over from the grass but he quickly got up. The ratata was perhaps his friend it must have been this pokemon of whom the ratata was calling. The sandshrew had seen enough to know who had attacked his friend. It ran on fours and charged for Mystery.

This of course was a bad course of action, Mystery being a grass type and all. Not that he knew any effective grass moves ye-"Use Leech Seed Mystery!"
Scowling, the bulbasaur shot the green seeds at the sandshrew, spreading them out so that it would be hard to evade them. His thoughts kept getting disrupted and it really was becoming very ann-"Follow up with tackle!"
He hoped the rattata didn't get captured. He could pummel it then, it had started this dirsupting.

The sandshrew felt the seeds attaching to his body, feeling them sucking away his life, he rolled on his back to try to lessen the effect and hopefuly take them of. Even after the tackle the sandshrew remained standing. Being a hardy pokemon, it curled itself into and ball and started to roll towards Mystery in a way of tackle.

It was impossible for the bulbasaur to dodge that, when he hadn't regained enough distance to effectivly move his body out of the way. Thus the tackle hit, but he felt some of his energy replenished by the leech seed attack. That attack could be quite handy-Not that it replenished all of his energy.
"Tackle it!"
The sandshrew was somewhat close right now, and Mystery's tackles were based on that. It meant he didn't have to move his stubby legs as much to make contact. Wonderful.
