The pidgey shook its head and flew over to Lakota. Where it lay perched on her shoulder. It gave another call and blew another mini gust storm.

"Hey there" Lakota smiled as she gently tried to pet the pidgey. Ankui snorted once as she leaned against a nearby boulder watching.

The pidgey allowed the petting, tilting its head in what could only called an arrogant 'I'm better than you' look at Ankui, apparantly attempting to usurp the charmanders trainer. "Crukooooo." Oh. This trainer was good at petting.

Lakota smiled as Ankui snorted with disguest. Her tail flicked around as she barely kept it from setting the surrounding grass on fire. Her eyes narrowed in rage as she stared at the two, maybe she would get into a fight with this pokemon after alll...

Not that the pidgey had noticed anything, be as it was busy rubbing up against Lakota's cheek. Ah yes, no more digging in the dirt for worms, watching out for ekan's, avoiding spearow, and chasing caterpie. A nice easy life. Especially once she replaced that charmander.

Lakota smiled as she grasped a pokeball from her waist. 'Maybe I can catch it now while it is being friendly...or maybe I should just see if it would like to come along' She tried to make a disicion as Ankui figured out what the pidgey was planning. "Char char" {Don't catch it...} She whinned to herself as she watched Lakota reach for a pokeball while still petting the pokemon.

It didn't matter what course of action Lakota took, she was sure to get the pidgey either way, because the pidgey was, in essence, a bird that would rather sit on someone's shoulder and occasionally battle for its food, rather than eke out a living in the wild. The pidgey, in short, was lazy.

Lakota made up her mind as she pet the pidgey once more. "Hey little guy, would you like to join me Ankui on our trip?" She asked as she pointed to the charmander with her free hand. Ankui looked away as she snorted at the pidgey that sat on her trainer's shoulder. Her tail waved a little lower above the grass as she considered starting a fire several times.

Not that the threat of fire bothered the pidgey, considering it could just fly above the flames and hope his adopted human didn't get roasted. Not that it couldn't find another one, if this one did get roasted. As a response to Lakota's question, he picked out a pokeball and entered it on his own, finding that it was really quite comfortable inside. After the pokedex had acknowledged a capture, it left the pokeball to take a seat on Lakota's shoulder again.

Lakota smiled as she got the response she did. "Hmmm, let's call you Taski" She said as she stroked her new pokemon's head. "C'mon Ankui, let's go" She smiled as she looked towards the angry charmander. "Char" Ankui snarled her response in rage as she glared at Taski. "Pidgey" Taski replied as his tounge stuck out at the charmander that rolled her eyes, Lakota not noticing as she began to walk off. Ankui rolled her eyes once more as she followed after them. Her tail was lifted along with her head in pride to show that she was trying to keep herself from being bothered by the pidgey any longer.

After a while nothing but silence was upon the air. Suddenly a small rustle from the grass below but it was just probably the wind. Suddenly from out of now where a mankey jumped upon your back in a playful manner. "Mankey mankey" It said happily as though it was a game.

Lakota fell as her feet gave from the extra weight on her back. Taski took perch on a small branch above as he looked at the mankey.
As Ankui watched, she began to laugh. Her tail wagged happily like a little puppy as she watched once more.
Lakota looked at both of her pokemon as she stood up looking at the mankey. "What the-" She began in rage.

Not that the mankey gave her a chance to finish her sentence, as he was happily attempting to eat her air, a fistful of it in one little fist, and a mouthful in his...Well, his mouth. He would have laughed with Ankui, but it was hard to laugh when you were eating someone's hair.

Lakota winced in pain as she tried to push the mankey from her hair. Wincing more, she sighed as she tried harder and harder to get the pokemon off her. Ankui shook her head as she laughed harder and Taski watched in amazement.

Eventually the mankey allowed her to 'push' him off, though in all actuallity the pokemon had simply gotten bored and come to the conclusion that her hair didn't taste as good as it looked. Not surprising, since most hair didn't taste good no matter how it looked, and some tasted worse than others. If it had been any consolation, Lakota was in the group that had the better-tasting, bad-tasting hair.
"Mankey." Hanging off of her shoulder, with his feet curled around her elbow, he looked at her with big round eyes. It clearly looked as if he was using the innocent child look to get rid of any anger towards him she may have felt.
